Kylen - exactly correct. All *I* want is realtime ducking of one sound by another on the frequency domain. That's what space-boy does, but I can't handle the latency. I'd settle for less accuracy in exchange for no latency. GlissEQ already does cross-instance spectrums. The next step seems logical.

This happened again - a guy who clams idea ownership presumably without having a patent... Paul, I won't license this idea from you because this has no legal base. On the other hand, I won't probably implement it either in the nearest future - just don't want to have a bit of negative publicity (like I'm stealing ideas)... Unfortunately...

Aleksey,
You are free to copy Space Boy functionality (that's my explicit agreement btw). My only request is that you continue to support the Import feature for existing and future Space Boy users.
I would have prefered to discuss this offline first but that's difficult for me given my limited computer access the next few days.

Paul, OK. But just for your information, this feature needs some effort to implement in GlissEQ (having an idea != having an implementation of this idea). It is very likely that in the core of the plug-in my approach will be different from yours. More abstractly speaking, this is a competition, and I can invision that even if you had a patent on implementation of this idea I could always find a different (better or worse) implementation that's not covered by the patent (your offer seemed to me like I should have an agreement with somebody on the idea of equalizer, too).
It's good you've explicitly described what an 'agreement' is (I thought I would need to sign it with you like in license agreement). I'll continue to provide the Import feature.
