for finding chord that matches a song, There has to be. I'm really going to show my inexperience here, but I've been trying to find some chords to match some music I'm working on, armed with a chords dictionnary; I've tried about 35 so far but not even close, and there are HUNDREDS UPON HUNDREDS in that dictionnary.

perhaps a little theory is in order so you can look at a chord to determine if it meets the requirement. In the whole buy a man a fish, teach a man to fish theme I highly recomend you google on chord wizard. They have a great theory program that uses midi examples for around 20 bux, they also have one that's around 70 that if you play guitar is so very cool. Sorry I don't have the link, I'm still rebuilding after a new HD...
