Watch this hilarious video that came out around the time Logic 6 was released. I think this was from someone at Steinberg. He brags about how the freeze feature has been available in SX 1 "for some time now" and then shows you how easy it is:

Now wasn't that simple? Why would anyone complain about having to do that and want to only click one button?

Yeah, crazy huh?

Crazy indeed, but that´s how i likr to di it ,if the macro have gone on disabling ,track instead of muting and get it together with the rendered one in such way that editing could go on and be reversed at any moment it would be cooler.
off course that can be done on Logic.
