If you like, you can make an audio demo (MP3) and post it... If you don't have that option you can e-mail them to me and I will post the demos for you!!

I cannot use the kit yet. I don't have HALion. I do have Dr008, Sfz+ and Kontakt but these can't import.

So, is anyone doing a Dr008 version?

I have those same 3 plus EXS24 and I'd love a mapping too if someone has one.

I whipped one up Gordon, but I didn't have a mapping and Salvador never got back to me. I did all the levels by ear but they need some tweaking - not much, but I think I could get them a little more playable. It works though, and the drums sound really nice - unfortunately there are no cymbals and toms to check out and those are the real truth-tellers in a drum sample library (for me anyway).

I'd like a velocity map... Even if someone could just do a printscreen from Halion and post the .jpg so I could get the levels from it.

I have imported the kit in Vsampler3 and are doing a DR008 version right now (only open and pedal hats left). I guess it would be alright to post it here?

Excellent guy! Thanks. I have VS3 but it is like hell to use -in fact I uninstalled after cracking my head open trying to understand it. After VS3 Kontakt is like heaven.

It works though, and the drums sound really nice - unfortunately there are no cymbals and toms to check out and those are the real truth-tellers in a drum sample library (for me anyway).

I'll soon put out a mp3 demo with more toms in it.
The demos on the website can show you a little more on the cymbals...!

Here is a live video clip (WMV) of me warming up the tubes before I started sampling the kit. YOu can here the toms....The Snare drum was tuned low at that time.
It was 9:00 AM and I played a little rusted...Sorry!

No shots of your smilin' face Giro? Very smooth stuff

Don't your neighbors complain (considering you're in J-City and most likely have people upstairs/downstairs etc.)??? I used to live there, I know how it is.

Thanks again for the great sounds. I'm making a kit for the EnergyXT sampler now....would be nice to have the vel-map though.

The Drum Roll (G#0) has loop points or markers.. HALion?,Yes you can loop and hold till you hit the rim shot in A#0.. Have them in a mute group! HALion can loop but I have it off for now. The Sample has a loop..... Don't know about Dr,008

There are 4 samples for the foot pedal 1,2,4&5
2&4 are in cross fade.. sample #3 is out for now.

Yes I have them... There's one sample in the demo kit A#0 (Snare FX folder)

A#0=Rim Shot (one sample) mute group with roll
B0-C1=KICK ( no Transpose active )
C#1=SStick
D1=Snare
D#1=Snare Flams
E1=snare (same samples)
F#1=Hats CL
G#1=Hats PDL
A#1=Hats OP

Orange= mute group

I dug out the DR008-manual and the Ultrasampler DO indeed support looping. As far as I can understand it doesn't support trigger-release, only a fixed number of loops, so I think I'll just drop the issue. Mute group added, though!
