I'll take the oppurtunity seeing how there a few changes. You've seen this, this is typical

this is the lazy way when I feel like just sitting on the couch. This view is from my seat on the couch. This set-up takes under a minute. All i did was flip the keyboard stand upside down so the wider legs were on top (it's still plenty stable) and I have a board behind my couch for the laptop.

And from a distance...notice in the background my Playstation2 on wheels. That TV is dedicated to playstation and can roll anywhere.

Usaully my laptop sits on the end table basically under the arrow...that's one reason for my typos I type with just my left hand often...

winegums - isn't having the boiler in your studio a bit of a bummer ? (otherwise - nice setup!)

Yeah, but it's the only room I could set the gear up in!

Doesn't seem to affect anything tho, other than when it clicks on - it puts a static 'click' on my Soundscapes! I've gotten around this, by not having any heating on in winter and freezing for the love of music making...

and no, i'm not really a "drummer"... i love playing the old electric kit, but i'm a novice at best.

also, a lot of the arrangement of things is still in progress, like the k-station will get moved eventually, and isn't plugged into anything, i just haven't had time to sort it out.

also, the lone computer speaker does have a mate that, at the time of the pictures, had fallen behind the desk and i didn't feel like crawling underneath to fetch it. it's back in place now and better organized... perhaps i need to update my photos...

Some groovy green lizard species that run ramped all over these parts. Mr. Sickle probably knows what phylum they are kin to more that I would.

Found it inside my house sunning itself in the kitchen window. It was cool enough to pose for a few pics before giving it the boot outside.

hink, what the heck is that spiky eared thing in the corner? It disturbs yet arouses my curiosity!

1st if you're talking about the black thing on the speaker it is a black metal cat face with cut outs for the whiskers, nose and the eyes, with the eyes being made of jade color marbles. It has a place in the back for a candle so it lights up all cool. It was my sisters. I put one of those little mushroom lights behind it (that's the dome) with a 7 1/2 watt bulb in it.

2nd if you think you know what I covered with the black you're probably right...but it's not exactly black. I just forgot it was there when I took the picture...

FWIW one of the guitar mgas of the 80's had a poster of Randy Rhodes in the studio, there was this leafy substance on a tray and orange zig-zags...
