They really seem to have bitten a lot off of Live 4 here, but it does look very nice. If they get the pattern stuff right in addition to having freeze and track folders I might be tempted.

This could be a huge improvement, biggest jump in versions 1 to 2 of anything ive seen. I do think it has too many seperate modules though, could they not just of made with fewer versatile modules instead. There will be a whole new era in vs threads, with this and Reason soon.

I'd hope that people would see the potential of P5v2 *with* Reason, rather than comparing.90909 wrote:There will be a whole new era in vs threads, with this and Reason soon.

Not to encourage any software studio wars, but I dont think people would be looking to buy both if they dont own one already. They are very much in competition with each other. There will be VS wars between these big time.Markleford wrote:I'd hope that people would see the potential of P5v2 *with* Reason, rather than comparing.90909 wrote:There will be a whole new era in vs threads, with this and Reason soon.

I agree totaly, both apps are different, one is a closed system and the other an open system, I think P5 v2 acting as a Rewire host to Reason will be a nice match.Markleford wrote: I'd hope that people would see the potential of P5v2 *with* Reason, rather than comparing.

I think it does - I only fear it doesn't yet match on the stability/maturity/performance/consistency front...
- but that will come!
