And how in the hell would Orion 6 measure up to:

FL Studio 5
Live 4
Reason 3
Project 5 v2

I started this thread right after checking out the preview for the upcoming Cakewalk Project5 v2.

And it looks like a Live 4 killer!

Even with the Rewire format, it's still a possible Reason killer too!

In case Bones never told you, I try out Orion 5.8 (demo) a few months ago.

And I like the mixer arrangements a lot (especially for using drum synths).

Even now, I putting money aside for Orion. And for my own production, it will co-exist with FL Studio 5 & Audition.

But I want to know what Orion 6 is going to look like first.

Yes, I know. Reason is still a closed format.

And if I can't use other synth inside that soft studio, I'll never buy it.

ORION development grinds on. I think Rich is looking for something special to add for v6 and he has been working on a few interesting things. Personally, I couldn't care less as it already has every useful thing I can imagine I will ever need.
