Normal Loudness of Everyday sounds

About how loud is the sound of a copy machine when standing right next to it in decibels?
What kind of sounds would be above 80 decibels?
Is the jump from 80 to 90 decibels in SNR a great deal when recording everyday sounds?
I will not be recording jets taking off or loud rock concerts.
Sorry for the apparent randomness of the questions I've got the remains of my migraine last night and this typing isn't helping quelm the pain.
Any help is appreciated.
