sampletank 2 upgrade weeks or months away?

just wonder. a software junkie that needs a good fix. i really want the new sound library, is that weeks or months away?

I must return now to using geometric logic to prove there was a duplicate key to the strawberry locker.

I had my first taste of Sonik Synth 2 last night and man am I blown away! I've known since the Keyboard Mag article (has it been almost a year?) that this would be my favorite VSTi. I've only sampled a few sounds so far and SS2 is great!
It does make the ST2 sound set seem small, and kind of plain when placed side by side. I've got way more sounds than I can even try out in the next month! I find so many great patches that make me just want to play, so I get stuck on one and don't move on. I spent over an hour on 'the one' and I will start there again when I get off work. So I'm only in the normal hurry to get hold of the 2.1 sounds. It will still be sweet when it arrives. Like christmas in early May?
It looks like it will be a great journey. Sonik Reality doing the refresh to the ST2.1 sound set was one of the things that made me decide to go with SampleTank, with lots of SR sounds.
I cound not have made a better choice!
I offer my heartfelt thanks to the SR team for all their work on these great instruments

I'm a sound junky, too, and I'm excited about the 2.1 upgrade. I agree with r_harms sentiments that ST2's sounds are not quit as satisfying as SS2's. I expect with the new sounds, that ST2's sounds will be more on the same level with SS2.
I'm thinking the improved mapping and extra audio outputs will make the Sampletank engine much more versitile. Is there any word on whether mouse wheel support made it into the ST 2.1 upgrade??
