For OSX Mac users I updated my BCR2000 using "SysEx Librarian" at:
http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/
It allowed me to send the Data on USB. I just dragged the SysEX file downloaded from the Behringer site into it's window and sent it.
The Behringer site scared me at first as far as Mac support goes but this worked thankfully.

Hi...Tim Harper wrote:HOLY THE F*%^ BATMAN!!!
That shit is unbelieveable.
I finally got the mackie control emulation to work and it really is amazing, to think so much automated control for only 240 bucks, Thank you Behringer -
THE MOUSE IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE BCF.
I'm having the exact same problem as you had...what's the solution?

(By the way, this is the issue I'm referring to)Tim Harper wrote:Is anyone else having trouble using the mackie Control emulation for the Behringer BCF? Whenever I try using it with Cubase SL and the BCF view I cant seem to control any of the faders or dials. If I try moving a fader it moves back after 2 seconds, the dials simple wont move atall. The Mackie emulation is definitely loaded as sometimes it seems to work without the BFC view. Any ideas?

Quick question to any of you BCF2000 owners - the expression pedal and switch inputs on the back of the unit - am I right in thinking that this would let me plug in a normal volume pedal, and then the unit would convert this to MIDI data so I could control a wah fx on a vst guitar amp sim?....that would make me want this thing even more....if that's possible!!

Yup that's possible... Only thing is that you can't use the pedal in the emulation modes though... So if you want to record guitar (wah), then you will have to switch to the "normal" or preset mode, and then you can control the wah that way... Just make sure you configure the BCF to send the correct midi signal to your guitar effects...studiosonic wrote:Quick question to any of you BCF2000 owners - the expression pedal and switch inputs on the back of the unit - am I right in thinking that this would let me plug in a normal volume pedal, and then the unit would convert this to MIDI data so I could control a wah fx on a vst guitar amp sim?....that would make me want this thing even more....if that's possible!!

So, I got myself a BCR a couple of days ago (yeah, literally a couple, not a few, for those anglophiles out there
) and am still curious as to how I can 'automate' the LEDs to behave according to pre-recorded automation in FL Studio. I cannot search the official studios right now, because I don't have my log-in information with me. My little sis' computer (where I am right now) used to have the cookies in place, but she had to format C: yesterday...
I guess tonight when I am home I'll try to see if I can do it using FL's MIDI OUT plug-in, while using the BCR as a remote device. Have never used dashboards before, so I'll try the stuff I downloaded from bebop's template page, too, and see how I'll get this to work for me.
If any of you got suggestions, feel free, ya know?

I just got the BCR 2000 and SX3 upgrade at the same time. I haven't quite figured out how to work the presets, get MIDI feedback data, etc.
But really, I just wanted to write: that was a great movie DocT.

Well, thanks to skore's files I got things to work fine in FL. Only thing that I gotta figure out is, why what should be CC 96-101 does either not react whatsoever, or cycles through CC 0-127 (with various value changes to those actual CCs) instead of going through its 'own' 128 stops. Erm, probably didn't explain it right, but so far I didn't need to use all encoders anyway.
The feedback thing works fine, except when turning knobs that have already been automated, but I guess that's a known problem.

Hello Sonar users,
I need your help
i cannot control dxi/vsti with my BCF2000, i can only control mixer parameters (in mackie mode), but not synths, even when i'm not in mackie mode. For instance, on Albino2 i cannot use the learn function, it seems Sonar don't receive any midi message.
Can you help me?
Thanks
