Promoting re-released remasters of first 3 albums.

Amazing how a bit of cash will help soothe ruffled feathers ie. J and Lou Barlow

This will be the original lineup, including Murph.

I saw them at Birmingham in the early 90s (with new bassist) and they (well, mainly J) were fuckin awesome. One of the top 5 gigs of my life.

I saw J at First Ave about two years ago with a band called "The Fog", They played mostly Dinosaur Jr. songs, but in any case, Mr. Mascis just floored me.

I know everyone hates guitar wankery, but he is just so damn good at it. :D

J is the antithesis of guitar wankery - he plays beautiful melodies, chords and solos...not wee willy widdly widdly shit.

Kind of what Hendrix might have been if he was a punk

just so you know...
J Mascis was never in Sebadoh.

Sebadoh was started by Lou Barlow, the original Djr bass player after he left the band.

when i was a kid and the whole grunge thing kicked off they were my favourite.
they had that malinchonic/melodic touch which grabbed me right away.
saw them live in 93...and i enojed pretty much if i remeber right( the state i was in  ...).
since then haven't been listening to rock music at all and kept well away from rock concerts....but this one tempts me. nostalgia i guess
gettin old  ..

Maybe this means we'll see an Upsidedown Cross reunion as well..
