Well, I actually helped you

No, you didnt. You ignored what I asked, and used the time to promulgate your own naive little worldview.

and now I know that apparently you didn't really listen and understand what you've seen since you didn't apply these things to your own life.

How would you know?

Such as not being that much of a consumer due to fight club

Oh yeah, how deep. Guess you dont comprehend irony much then, do you.

Yeah, dont buy stuff, blow it up, thats liberation maaaan.

and realizing the uselessness of things. Besides this consider the polution in producing things, consider the better things these money can be spent on than your boredom.

Better for whom?

If you haven't read any Dalai Lama books or the like, read some of those, and "listen" to what you read, and thereby learn.

No thanks. But why dont you go and read the Principia Discordia, and some Robert Anton Wilson, then come back and preach about your dumb little reality tunnel.

Think of humans being alike which we really are and then on what Dalai Lama does that you could do to develop yourself and reich a higher level of understanding and personality.

Thats not what we 'really' are, just a manifestation of the narrow reality-tunnel you've chosen to inhabit. Your problem, not mine, Ive got an open mind, thanks.

You don't need to be religious, it's philosophy really. Philosophy which basically anyone can learn from.

No its not. Its an opinion you are trying to insist is universal. Its not.

Good luck on your future, remember that your time is running out so use your time wisely.

Smug moralising isnt wisdom.

Now, about those sodding toys? Anything else from clueless, the Notron was a good one....

Sickle For the money you have available, I would consider getting a mint condition Roland RE-301.

Nice beasties. How much they go for, then?

CypherOne I just realised the irony in my timing there.

An unnatural mastery of comedic timing, that....

A 301 in perfect condition will hit the upper cieling of your spending limit(totally worth it, imo..)..But you can get a really nice 201 for a fraction of that & it's still an awesome unit.

You could get a 501 for about the same price as a 201, but arguably the noise reduction it features kills alot of it's charm.

Good info can be found on all models here:

Why not get a copy of "Better Living through Fight Club: Consumerism for Dummies, a Reference for the Rest of Us"?

Seen it in a few bargain buckets recently.

Good choice.

What about a dotcom modular? You could get a nice little system for that much.
