Vegas 6 in 2 weeks?

Vegas 6 is being released in the next couple of weeks according to:

Anyone know of the pre-release details? Has it been announced at any of the shows? I'd be interested to find out if they've added any of ACID 5 functions. I reckon the media organiser will be in Vegas 6 but I'm hoping for more audio related tools and even a video chopper!

I'm guessing just the usual; fid long-overdue bugs from previous release, add pointless Sony hardware integration, f**k up the icon colors some more, swap all the keyboard shortcuts around, add a few more bugs.

Sony's wallet might have saved SF, but MAN does their project strategy suck.

That's a jaded view of Sony I must say. Compared to other video/film apps Vegas has always favoured the musician. Hence my interest. You might be right about Sony but it's their loss if they don't capitalise on the audio strengths of Vegas.

Isn't it time the major video/film apps realised that we want to treat video with the same contempt we treat audio? Instead of all this highend HDV wank that everyone is pushing now? Give me a chopper and a slicer because that's where video will f**k up the status quo. I hope Sony is leading instead of following.
