Isn't it more important to talk about what the f**k has happened to young people and music than whether we're technoids. I'm pilling off my head and correcting every second word because I've got dysl-E-xtacy but it seems that this is the crux of the matter at the moment IMO AFAIK.

I grew up with a guy whose favorite lunch consisted of thick slabs of Velveeta cheese between slices of Wonder bread with about a 1/4 cup of miracle whip on it.

Yeah, like I can afford snails.

I used to have them every day at a job I had long ago. One of many jobs I've had where the one good thing was the free food.

Especially at this french place where the pastry chef had this award winning dessert.

Picture this: A 12 inch plate sauced with this really rich pistachio creme anglaise and a slice of this Chocolate Pistachio Truffle Pate (which was dark chocolate ganache layered with white chocolate ganache laced with pistachios in a pate mold) centered on this plate. On one side of the slice of pate was a handmade white chocolate rose, on the other a hand made dark chocolate leaf (she used fresh lemon leaves, painted tempered chocolate on them evenly and peeled the leaf off when it cooled).

A sprinkle of finely chopped pistachios over the top.

sigh.
