Yeah, like I can afford snails.
Why buy them when all you can eat snails can be gathered outside?

I have a funny relationship with Mayo. I dislike it intensely on certain things (like bologna sandwiches), but I love it as a dipping sauce for my french fries.

<shrug>

Also, Miracle Whip does not count as Mayonaisse. Miracle Whip grosses me out, especially on sandwiches.

Mind you, Wonder Bread or any other enriched white bread also makes me want to gag. It practically tastes like fungus.

someone said that its a waste to worry about the technical aspect, becuase that will be outdated in a couple years, but the melodies will remain forever.

I disagree. Electronic musicians are still manipulating audio/midi, etc in the same basic ways as has been done since the 80's, being very generous. Sure there are some new tools every now and than, and production quality gets a lot better but people continue to use the same concepts in innovative ways, all this sound design stuff is an artform, obviously and plays a major role as part of the song composition. f**k, if you dont like electronic music, and you dont feel like this, than fine. But anyone who even enjoys any numerous subgenres of electronic music knows this. And as a musician in this genre it should be even more apparent.

SOUND DESIGNERS! hehe TECHNOIDS OR WHATever, f**k music theory, hehe

I think what i meant to say was sound design/composition are two different arts.

Miracle Whip is definitely more evil than mayonnaise IMO.

Mayonnaise, used intelligently, is a force for good. Miracle Whip is -- as its bizarre, half-sadistic, half-pseudo-religious name ought to clue us in -- a creature of the Great Deceiver*. Repent, all ye, and partake only of the true spread, that ever thy girth should increase.

Kraft might tell you that Miracle Whip is a composition of only the finest ingredients.

Made by technoids, perhaps? :?

But, Ketchup and Mayo blended together just makes vegetable dip. Not my first choice for french fries, but it doesn't seem all that bizarre to me. ;)

You don't like vegetable dip? Ie. Thousand Islands Dressing without the extra chunky texture? Also known as McDonald's Special Sauce?

It's a classic flavour, and not bizarre in the least. ;) I STILL don't see myself dipping fries into it, but it's not a concept that grosses me out. ;)

Ever made mayonnaise by yourself? It's a f**king ART!
Let alone there's some very nice variants, if you are more some sort of a "dipper dude". I just LOVE sticks of carots, sweet peppers, celery and "stem cabbage" (is that the word?) dipped in all sorts of sauces, mayonnaise being one of them. Mind you, I prefer the modified versions, such as Aioli or a good mixture of mayonnaise, yoghurt and herbs.
And well, I also like Miracle Whip - actually even the "light" version. Less fat, more taste.
But usually I just do all sorts of dips myself.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.
