I need THE best free samples first. And then THE best commerical samples second.

And please, no loops! I want all one-hit samples here. I like mostly wav. :D

...They have loads of quality tasty FREE samples for Akai S5k/6k samplers but they're all WAV format. You can of course convert them over to other formats using Awave Studio or Translator, etc. Check out the SY85 and Korg MP7, done by yours truly :D

Howdy. Here's a few free ones:

http://www.sullivang.net/samples/ for superb Wurlitzer EP200 and Yamaha CP-80 soundfonts; you'll need to do some weird transformations, but it's worth it. ZioKiller seems to have a holy mission to do better software emulations of these, but get 'em anyway.

http://www.soundcreationsinc.com for the Splendid Grand.

http://www.guraydere.com/soundfonts/default.aspx has some gems.
Wait... loot _then_ burn? D'oh!

I'm checking them all out. Thank you all. And keep posting! 8)
