ooooooh. You've definitely been rolling those leaves haven't you.
What'd ya use dude!?!?!?! Gear listing please!!!
Really though....i'm listening to the first one right now....it's great for the mood i'm in really....very relaxing after the insanity of the party i was at last night. I don't really find it to be depressing...kinda carries me off a bit. nicely done....carry on with that one.
The second one is a bit crazy IMO....in a good way....That's a sexy bass you used....lol, that middle part reminds me of practicing in the highschool cafeteria with the marching band...i was stoned through that though, so maybe that's not a helpful remark.
Definitely carry on with them....i'd be interested in hearing more developed versions.
peace!

Definitely continue here, John
Both have great percussion tracks... the first one reminds me of sleazy 80s synth pop,
and jaathsax has that perky little bass line, and some great effects here and there.
More tuneless and depressing rubbish, please
ew

Both pieces have great grooves...would love to hear them as they grow...should you choose to develop 'em.

Pffft is a great tune. Excellent chillout groove. I had to double check that this was a vurt track when I first listened
Jaaath... is okay, didn't really grab me. I don't think I like the bass in it, maybe too murky.
Those tossers who say that bullshit haven't a clue what they're on about. Theory for them is the "proper way," which means if it doesn't conform with musical stylistics as they understand them, then it mustn't be music. f**king morons would probably say Captain Beefheart wasn't music. Swift kick in the arse would sort them out.
Carry on, vurt!

2nd one ~silly 60's
like em, remind me of a dream i had about a genre called new blend.. minimal structures with any theme, couple of sounds and a beat, as played in haute cuisine restasurants with naked clientele :p
well there were little pools all around so :p but it was the big thing.. who knew you were a new blend frontliner :p

I like both of 'em. First one seems a little more conventional (structured?), the second one is great for one of those more experimental tracks. Even if you put them on hold for a while, do save them and continue to work on them later.

Whoa..what the hell is this stuff, man!!
You got some kick-ass sequencing going on in track 1, everything sounds great! I really dig some of those patches..that must be your Roland
Track two's good too, just not up my alley, although I see other's liking it alot.
My vote's with track 1, but this is a great new direction you're heading in..

Seriously though, I especially liked the first piece. It's short, but it's truly one of my very favorite vurt pieces.
vurt, this might be that mojo you were looking for awhile ago.
I hope you make some more pieces with a general style similar to this.
take care,
McLilith
