No one yet? Can't believe it. Well, I'll be first then. This month no experiments or irony. An instrumental (ambient?) simply called Spring. All sounds are homegrown.

Come on. Get postin'

Aw shit, I wanted to be the first one to post this month. Nevermind :D

This track is a bit all over the place. It starts as symphonic pop or something, turns into an almost-but-not-quite atonal thing and then suddenly it's Chet Baker coming out of your speakers. All this in 1min 45secs.

I hope it won't put you off from further listening cos actually I love it a lot and it has my best vocal performance to date on it [ie. of course it's out of key most of the time but it has 'feeling' and is quite touching i think :D ].

Enjoy:

It's called COME ON EVERYBODY (cos the sample says so ;-)

I used NO live equiptment at all.

I'm posting early this month...

This month the idea came up to me almost immediately. I wanted to make this upbeat sample based dance song. I'm not fond of taking stuff from other songs unless I tweak the hell out of it(which isn't recommended for UPBEAT songs), though, so I only used 2 samples from other songs, which you have definitely heard before but probably won't recognize, and the rest of the samples were made by myself, recording some stuff, exporting them as wav files and looping them. I tried to make them sound like samples from other songs as much as I could, and I hope I managed to achieve that effect.

I'm not sure if it sounds as upbeat as I wanted it to, but it's certainly more so than my usual stuff.

So ok, here you go:

"YAY!!!" by DJ FLUFFY(that would be my annoying cheesy party DJ alter ego)

Enjoy...

CBA on writing owt new, and besides it's too good an opportunity not to bring this old bag o shite out for an airing again. :P (well I did actually write it originally for a kvr contest, just never entered it for some reason )

Spring is in the air, Uncle Tone calls the election, and a young mans mind turns to .....politics :-o

Slightly rejigged the bugger (some new Tories about these days...), lots of profanity, marvellous;

life is growing, joy of spring everywhere...

have you heard the song of the illiteral birds ?

for a slightly better experience, give yourself at least 5 secs of silence before and after listening.

Hey, folks - I think it's better with a theme than without, even though this one managed to squeeze a pretty sappy tune out of me...

Everybody enjoys a good brawl in the spring. The smell of orange blossoms and daffodils fill your bloody nostrils as you pummel Bruno in the face with your bare knuckles.

Spring is all about the turn of winter into summer, the warming of the earth by the mother sun.

A mother's tale - part 3

"She pressed the bramble to her bosom quite close, so that it might be thawed. The thorns pierced her flesh, and great drops of blood flowed, but the bramble shot forth fresh green leaves, and they became flowers on the cold winter's night, so warm is the heart of a sorrowing mother." - Hans Christiaan Andersen

My 'spring is in the air' entry - Swallow

Only F notes were used as they have the springiest action on my keyboard. :hihi:

Here's mine. It feels seasonally optomistic and even a trifle onamatapoeic.
