I'm looking for a simple program to catalog samples into categories. Has to support drag and drop to it and from it into samplers and such and preview. Tried a freeware called sample catalog but it's buggy. Who knows something?

Yeah I've tried it. It woould be perfect if it would work. When I drag and drop a folder containing other folders with samples it only imports the root and one of the folders but not everything.

Ha! I think I managed it to get Sample Catalog to work. It was an option in the options called "Don't add empty directories". Now when there was a folder which just contained another folder it thought that would be an empty directory. Anyway...if anyone has other suggestions your welcome! That SampliFile would store the files itself and is not what I need. Actually it has to be just like the Sample Catalog proggy and make shortcuts but thanks for your suggestion.

I cant seem to remember which one, but one of the music mags had a sample catalog proggie (not Sample Catalog) on the cover disk.
Yeah well...I've never heard of you either and I have never once paid for any piece of software. Suckers...
