what do you think ???
are we here further ahead theory and technology wise than the mainstream of 'professional' (in the sense of making regular money from it) music production ???
(and is that a good or bad thing ??? )
isolated example ... is it acceptable that a BIG commercial multimedia company uses .mp3 for its roughmixes and collaborations despite all the potential timing and quality issues when other MUCH more accurate (.flac / .ape) formats exist with a minimal (for a company of that size) bandwidth impact ???
not sure where im going with this ... just wanted to ask the question ...
