anyways, some people can run the princeton 2016 in logic without a problem, i can not. there seem to be big differences in what people can and can not use in logic depending on the hardware i guess.

Sorry guys for interrupting, but what's this hex edit? What should i do?Sascha Franck wrote:Yeah, a hex edit might do the job - just as suggested before Battery 2 was updated.
But then, for some reasons I'll have to stay away from it.
thanks

Yeah, Logic is rather picky (regarding quite a lot of SE made synths as well, but I hardly ever use any) when it comes to hardware configurations it seems - or let's better say, it reacts differently on a lot of machines.
Apart from those hanging notes I do however not experience the slightest problems, it's just rock stable (way more stable than, say, SX 3).

bjm4tt,
i'll be lazy and just copy a line a mate of mine wrote:
"grabbed HView2000 (a hex editor) opened the battery2 config file in the vst folder with Hview... changed the nuber "20" too "10" then made the logic config file read only so battery couldnt change it back...."
this should solve it. if not, just hold on for the K2 update.

I don't remember exactly anymore (because I never used it), but it was either about changing some registry entry or opening the Battery.exe in some hex editor.bjm4tt wrote: Sorry guys for interrupting, but what's this hex edit? What should i do?
There should be something in NIs Battery forums to get you started.
Huh? What is that about? Will it expire in 2016 or so?steffensen wrote:yea, Logic is rock stable here as well, besides from the 2016 matter, but i can easily ignore that.
