Allmans Brothers, yes.
The Band: The Last Waltz.
Golden Earring - Moontan.
Loads more - these are just off the top of my head.
But definitely not "Convoy" by whoever it was - CC McCall or whoever.

Great movie, perhaps the best rock doc, Scorsese rules, but for DRIVING?Kneejerk wrote:The Band: The Last Waltz.
If we're going with watching DVD's while driving, how about reruns of "BJ & The Bear"?

Cars should really drive themselves. Isn't that how it was supposed to be in the "future". Then you could watch the DVD. Oh, well, I guess if they drove themselves they would have been called something else, like trains.Kneejerk wrote:How 'bout playin' that thar CD of it then?tkmattson wrote:Great movie, perhaps the best rock doc, Scorsese rules, but for DRIVING?Kneejerk wrote:The Band: The Last Waltz.![]()

This upcoming weekend, although technically in the future, will probably come and go without significant advances in transportation, so I think it's safe to assume he'll need to have the opportunity to glance at the highway now and again.tkmattson wrote:Cars should really drive themselves. About The Band: the bastards broke up on tour only a few days before I was to see them. Nobody told us until the day of the festival, either. We got to hear a cute chick called something something Lamb or something instead. Cute, and the first artist I ever saw using a headmounted microphone, allowing for an unprecedented amount of quite attractive slow sexy dancing while singing, but she was *not* The Band!
