Cars should really drive themselves. Isn't that how it was supposed to be in the "future". Then you could watch the DVD. Oh, well, I guess if they drove themselves they would have been called something else, like trains.

This upcoming weekend, although technically in the future, will probably come and go without significant advances in transportation, so I think it's safe to assume he'll need to have the opportunity to glance at the highway now and again.

About The Band: the bastards broke up on tour only a few days before I was to see them. Nobody told us until the day of the festival, either. We got to hear a cute chick called something something Lamb or something instead. Cute, and the first artist I ever saw using a headmounted microphone, allowing for an unprecedented amount of quite attractive slow sexy dancing while singing, but she was *not* The Band!
