allright... I am working on a hardcore dnb track and I want the bass to sound like Panacea's "Power of darkness" man, the bass in that track is one of the best ever...

Try a couple of things strung together, like mda subsynth into Cyanide 2 into Supaphaser.
Or give Devine Machine's Mminion a try. A lot you can do with 4 stacked modulated filter distortion units.

Mult the bass to two amp/speakers...one a bass/amp cab...the other a guitar amp/cab (I like Peavey 5150s in this case because they handle lows pretty naturally and the distortion is nice and tight if you set things right on the head).
Crank both amps up till the wall plaster starts to separarte...stop at this point (highly advised). Mic both cabs (lately the Audix D6 has been working a treat for me on anything bass related. It's a dynamic mic, but the diaphram is very quick and condenser like) and mix the dirty (guitar) channel with the clean (yeah...riiiiight) bass channel until you are happy with the balance and things are sounding suitably messy and abrasive.
You will require the assitance of a friend to position the mics, because *you* don't want to be totally deaf or you will never hear the compliments from the throngs of folks that will say how cool you are having gotten such an amazing bass sound.
And no need to stop at just two amps if you are not feeling it.
