Very interesting....I know Cubase and Logic have had rocket etc for sometime but this looks like it could lead to great things...bedroom musicians unite :P

Live video conferencing, control with MTC,mp3 compression as dsl and works as a VST 2.0 plug-in for both PC and Macintosh computers.

The price looks very affordable for a monthly subscription of 16 euros or 290 for a yearly studio account with 7 sub accounts :) (I think it's euros as they are a German company)

I wonder what the suggested internet connection spec is?.....broadband,what bandwidth?...I would imagine dial up would only allow basic functionality?

Could this be the new international standard for live distance collaboration if it takes off?It certainly looks very promising. :)

Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

Some further info on Internet connection...

To use digital musician.net and digital musician link, you require a Standard or Studio subscription.

The Studio subscription allows you to create further sub-accounts free of charge. To use the DML plug-in, a VST 2.0 host application as well as a DSL internet connection with at least 128 k/Bit(or 384 k/Bit for
recordings in CD quality) upload stream capability are required.

VST 2.0 plug-in
Stereo audio stream
Recording in CD quality(max. 256 k/bit mp3)
MIDI recording
Peer to Peer connection
Video conferencing with full screen view
Send File function

Pretty modest by todays standards...a minimum of 128k connection without the CD recording
:D
