oooooh, jens on drumatic! fantastic! 8)

This is nice. only one instance though? sounds like more.

nice touch jens!

peace! 8)
thanks :-D

it's one instance of Drumatic and five instances of Foorius - all of the rhythmic stuff that is going on in the background is Foorius :-D

(Drumatic is only kick&snare in the louder part)

b.t.w.: I'm using almost only Drumatic & Attack for drums these days... 8)

Really...that's interesting...but not suprising...they're some of the best out there for synthetic drums...Drumatic is pretty heavy...and i'd argue to say that Waldorf's attack is the best out there synthetic drum trax.

Peace!

P.S. Sorry guys, lol, you can have your thread back now.

:hihi:

Microtonic is the best, imho.

I think that the people that instantly don't like the synth, probably don't even know anything about wavetables... This synth is really awesome. If it had a few of the following it would be one of THE BEST of all time..

1.Better mono mode with options like legato. (NO CLICKING)

2. NO CLICKING... Sometimes happens should be fixed.
3. Freely routable envelopes (at leaste to resonence).

Forgive my ignorance if it allready has some of these.

edit: I also wouldn't mind seeing alternative skins.. I would really love one similar to Ambience reverb!

You can also load in microtonal scales and import FM sysex! Thats a real bonus..although you gotta tweak the imported stuff a bit. Still going thru it

and I don't see the spaceman yet!! WAHHHHHH :-( :-(
( although theres some nice graphics in one of the screens..but no spaceman)

He is also suppose to have a forum here at KvR-WHERE?

Registered......no more nag screen!!! Yipee!!

At least I can now test it out fully, and if I end up liking it as much as I think I will then I can throw a bit more dosh at them to support it. Hope the nag screen doesn't put too many people off because its the programming possibilities rather than the presets that sold me and its hard to fully check out the huge amount of power available.

Early days, but I'm guessing that this could be the best free/donation synth released to date.

Actually the more I dwelve into this synth, the more freakin awesome it is!
Didn't realise it came with .FXB's as well! And what a swell spread of patches! :hyper:

Dare I say - Crystal has just been superceeded!

I'm in like Larry Flynt weilding a 14in dildo! :hihi:

But Crystal is free :D

Although I agree that Foorius is the better synth (by far - which is no shame on Crystal) it isn't in the same category.

Can you guys give me a ball park figure of the ammount
($) you are donating to get the no nag version?

I love the foorius but I'm currently "in between jobs"
and am very short on $.

Even if crystal didn't suck up your cpu terribly, this would still kick its ass! And that is a compliment because crystal is awesome too! But greenoak should've made it lighter on the ol processor!

Cool sounds!

Drumatic & Attack here as well, a matched pair :)

This is too complex to rival Crystal's comfort level, but I do think DMI has made one of the most interesting softsynths that I've tried so far.

Just give anything from about $8+, and say you will give more later on or something. I gave about ~$18 thats what I can afford right now. I will give more later on as the synth gets refined and bugs fixed (said as much in the note on the paypal payment).
