WHY DON'T YOU PEOPLE INSTANTLY KNOW WHAT THESE THINGS ARE SUPPOSED TO DO

the erm.. lfos weren't connected to the step mods.. way past my bed time.

thought 'is there a (free?) step modulated bit depth crusher effect..' couldn't find one, got on a jag, sat down.. (my god! ~8 straight hours) straight.. and created this :p

i'm gonig to sleep so i hope i didn't f**k anything up. i recommend it for ...acid lines, drones, god knows.. but smooth stuf brings out the step pattern effect.

the first preset ~demonstrates 'what it's made for..' it steps thru so many steps of values for depth, rate and audio mix with some fancy effects liek being able to drag the pattern forwards and backwards by steps, moduate this by lfo as one of the ways t create dynamic step patterns..

..what's gonig on in the preset i bothered to make

is the ppqn step resolution is being modulated across 'binary' values (only power of 2 # of steps, 1,2,4,8,16..)

i'm thinking this is a fairly quick way to hurt signals a lot.
