Elmooht - Cloak and Phase

A short story of hope and desperation - raging inner battles until the
awaited salvation. 21 scenes provide snapshots from a personal storyline. Dark, vague, moody, tension and anxiety felt throughout. Weird drum hits and thumping bass sounds seep into ambient strips of sweeping drone and dissappear in the distance.

Had a listen earlier today. Very enjoyable.

Some of the tracks are so short you don't even realize they've passed. Only downside is that mp3s don't do justice to these sort of sequences of continuous tracks, as they become less seamless, but it's a downside I can live with.

Excellent! I think of it more as one long track in little sections. Flows beautifully.

Just finished listening to the whole thing - this is some of the best work of this type I've heard here. Subtle shifts in mood, like a little journey in vignettes, from one mysterious place to the next. Love it.

how come ~9 minutes of music comes out to be 24 megs??
you'd think bunch of 5 second long songs would be feasible over dialup these days

Was there no playlist file included within the zip?
I handed MoronLabs (the label) a zip that includes a text info file with the tracklist and a *.m3u file
