hi,
im looking for one or two people that still use cubase SX1 on PC who would be willing to do some quick tests of a synth update im working on...and would be willing to run the risk of crashing SX or even the computer.
the synth is running great for me with cubase SL2.2 and SL3. however, a friend tested it with SX1 said that when he tries to load the synth, first SX1 will crash, then his computer reboots.
so i'd like to see if the synth takes down someone else's SX1's too. if it doesnt, then i'll know the conflict isnt just between the synth and SX1, but perhaps also with another piece of software or hardare.
so...anyone willing to give this a shot?
thanks,
-ugo

If you're after challenges, I've got here an AMD800 with non-SSE mobo running Cubase VST32 with Win2000. If it works here, it should work practically everywhere.
Always interested in new offering from Ugo...

Hi Ugo, why don't you download the demo of cubase (vst32,sx...) and try it by yourself, it might be more effective 'couse you know exactly what to check.
