Well I finally managed to get the sound Ive been after for months thanks to the help Ive received on this forum with U-tonic, Chainer, and EnergyXt setup problems.

This is the best drum and synth combination Ive ever come across. (Being fairly new to vst synths tho, maybe I'm just experiencing the kind of amazing syncd sounds that others on this forum have been enjoying for ages, so forgive my enthusiasm) :)
But that said, check out this combination which turns U-Tonic into a turbo charged drum machine by triggering the ZeroVector vsti synth or whatever synth youfancy). The icing on the cake is some heavy lead guitar sounds from Slayer2, running in Chainer >>

Phtoto 1. A bit fuzzy this pic but it shows the setup for using U-tonic (bottom right) to trigger ZeroVector (right) -which is running in EnergyXT (left), which in turn is running in Chainer (bottom left) ...with Slayer2 in the top slot turned up LOUD ;-;;

Note Arpeggio enabled on ZeroVector synth (right), and SyncKeyoff button etc is enabled to keep it smooth.

I'm off to experiment .........

The occasional MP3 perhaps (if thats ok
with you??) :) :)
But Warez software? ..complete with inbuilt trojans? Tis a risky business.

T

:)

BTW. I meant to say that it took a bit of tweaking to get the drum/synth combination that I mentioned in my first post. I found that if I turned the U-Tonic drumbox volume down so I could hear a trigger in the synth it was connected to, I could then tweak that synth first and then bring in the u-tonic/drums when I had the right sound.

That pretty much takes inhuman discipline
