question about losing wave file when transfering files

hey there, hope you guys can help. when i transfer my project from one of my laptops to another one of my computers some of my wave files info end up missing. not all of it but like about half is missing. i have two pc's and two laptops. three are running cubase vst32 5.1r and one is running cubase vst 5.1. all are p4 2.8 and above,each one are one gig of ram and above. each one has two extra hardrives for audio and wave,samples. all are running great,its just when i transfer my projects from one to another that i lose the info. i just reload the wave samples again to fix it.i would like see if there to fix from happening.

if anyone has any ideas
