I'm not sure if I would want a job where I'd have to pee in a cup. How many times a day do you have to do that? And will you get paid per cup? or per day?
I would get paid per ounce actually. Somewhere along the lines of how a truck driver gets like 50 cents a mile....i'd get 50 cents per ounce of pee...So, if i could sqeeze out a few gallons a day...i'll be able to get my powercore in no time!!!

peace!

Just checking:
TotcProductions wrote:3. You may only use sounds from the Tsunami Sounds Collection volumes 1 and 2, with the exception of drums and vocal samples.
are there restrictions for effects and processing as well? since there are a couple of effects presets in the collection as well... or can we use all our regular processing and mangling toys?

I think, what Totc wanted to say in rule #3 is:

3. You may only use presets from the Tsunami Sounds Collection volumes 1 and 2, with the exception of drums and vocal samples.

(At least, this thas the content of the rule when I discussed the competition rules with him a few weeks ago.)

Means: You may also use the effect presets provided in the collections and combine them with the sound presets. But no "external" fx presets.

Thank you. I can live with that :D. As long as it applies to all contestants :). I was using Kjaerhus Autofilter, but I'll take it out again.

So, you can't use your e.g. sequencer's build in EQ and compressor? Nah, that sounds just too limited... :?

TOTC please confirm.

No, you can use other effects....EQ and compression (in light amounts) delays, reverbs, etc...are fine. Just stay away from ring modulators, pitch shifters, and other mangle-type effects (unless they are the cubase sx presets in the tsunami sounds volume 2 set). sound good?

Thanks. It's a bit sad though, that however good you prepare the contest and the rules, there are always guys like me asking silly questions ;).

Nope, it's no problem at all. That's what we're here for. ; )
