I can't even begin to tell you the hours of my life wasted watching shitty bands, many of which aren't just crappy metal, but not even metal at all! Sorry, VH1Classic, Bon Jovi was not, and will never be metal. A vast amount of the stuff they play on that show is just shitty 80's rock, nothing "metal" about it. But I'll always get sucked into the damn thing, just so I can see the occasional Exodus, or Anthrax vid.

Anyway, if you want cheese, look no further than Saxon, Manowar, and Helloween.

If you want plain funny, listen to some Gwar, SOD, and Coven. Coven was f**king HILARIOUS.

Yeah, I agree... I was being generous with the "half" comment. It's hard for me to judge as I'm skipping past all the crap so quickly with the TiVo.

Speaking of Manowar, a friend's trying to talk me into going to see them. I'm trying to talk him into seeing King Diamond instead (since both of us seem to be in the mood to see a cheesy metal band), but he'd rather see Manowar. Insane! KD is really the only metal act I've always wanted to see live but never have.

Warlock - Sounded like Twisted Sister with Pat Benetar singing
Meliah Rage - Just sounded horrible to me
Flotsem and Jessom - I can't even spell it right.
Uncle Slam - Metal punk rock played at 20bpm.

I liked "And justice for all". There are two or three songs on that album that really impressed me.

Everything after that is......well........pretty bad.

I've got to say, pretty much all hair-metal is, IMHO awful.

Bon Jovi, Poison, Motly Crue, Pantera (first few albums), Twisted Sister, god this could go for ages.

Also the whole of NWOBHM - Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc. euch.
