I guess he has no choice, maybe he has to use MS apps for some of his coursework (i've heard people in the uk having to submit stuff in word format or whatever). Personally I'd investigate OpenOffice or the like but maybe he has better things to do with his time. Same for Linux. Some people have lives beyond their computers. (alledgedly

I think thats fantastic, its about time someone took on those c**ts at Microsoft. Its f**king pathetic that MS try to sue a poor university student just for being forced into a corner by their own crappy license agreements.
