... two things

1) I never realised that she was American!! She is from Ohio, amazingly

2) I really really do not like the Pretenders

But she is into animal rights and vegetarianism, so thats cool

No. Its really not. Its hypocritical. Humans are still walking this planet because we changed our diets and experimented with killing small animals for food.

If we'd never done that, we would already be fossils.

Since we're getting off topic...

Humans are omnivores. Not carnivores. Not herbivores. We are designed to eat a varied diet, consisting of both plant and animal life. The problem is that we're clever monkeys... our brains are too big, which allows some of us to feel guilty about consuming animal life. Strangely, these same people have no qualms about consuming plant life, even though vegetation is, quite literally, alive.

Personally, I don't waste too much time worrying about it. I try and eat a balanced diet and maintain my health. End of story.
