I thought early Pretenders material was great...Talk of the Town and all that...they had a warm and tight sound...just like Chrissie's trousers.

Now animals...I don't have a problem with eating them but I do have a problem if they are treated poorly. I also have a problem if the animal is slaughtered for non-food reasons, such as their fur.

You confuse Satanist with Right Wing Fat Bastard... a common mistake.

Your diet is your choice. I see it in the same light as somethi like sexual prefference and religion. It is your choice. Society has certain limits within you can choose (donlt eat people and don't mess with children etc.)

As long as you make your choice within those limits I am cool with it and I respect your choice and I do expect somebody else to respect my choice if I am wihin the acceptable limits. I get a serious problem with people who do not respect my choice and want to force their choices unto me. If somebody do not respect my choice to eat meat that person must not expect me to return any respect.

It is all about choice and respect for people's choices.

For the rest I like Chrissie. She made many very cool songs. She was never a groundbraker musically, but everybody does not have to be. Ermm... it is my choice to like her, but I like GnR too and well....that's another story.

She aint really my cup of tea but she does have a unique voice and it sounds like no one else, there aint many singers can say that about themselves.

The Pretenders are OK. Chrissie Hynde is OK. Neither worth writing home about, but acceptable. Their first album was pretty good, I had some good times listening to it and knocking back a few beers.

As to veggie vs. meat-eater vs. anything else.. well.. people suck. Down with people! 90% of the human race are nothing more than mindless blobs of consuming protoplasm waiting to be buried and used as fertilizer for plants, too self-absorbed and narcissistic to see that they're wiping out thier childrens future to live fat now. Eat, burn, devour, leave nothing for anyone else. To Hell with the human race in general. This message brought to you by "Misanthropes Unanimous". Thanks for listening, now go die.

Same here. Some of the best records of their era. A great BAND that fell apart far too soon.

I think she is a brilliant songwriter, and (perhaps) the only woman singing rock that sounds tough without shredding her voice or postruing (if you know what I mean)....
