Seriously, I've never heard it in action but is Subtractor better than Neon?

The sad part is I remember when I was using FL studio 2.4 and CWPA8 and I found the NEON vst and downloaded it. I remember trying to get it to work in FL studio thinking "DAMN- this neon thing looks soo cool- if I could *only* get it to load in Fruity loops I would have a professional setup"
Compared to 5 and a half years ago we have it SOOO made...

The first midi-sequencer/VST host that I tried was some cheesy old version of CUBASIS... After struggling for hours to figure out how to set up and play a VSTi, I was finally able to get NEON to make a noise...
My first response was, "COOOL! It makes beeps when I press a key!!!"
The NEON joke is so damn funny not so much because its cheese by today's standards, but because many of us (me included) thought it was cool back then!
