According with the attached description from an article, I was trying to get this special and nice guitar sound effect from Pat Metheny. Following the details decribed in the article, I used the PSP 84 plugin to get the stereo delay as described with my jazz archtop guitar, but results were not similar and a "box sound" is always resulting. The article says:
"According to Pat Metheny, the output of the Digitech 2101 is run into two Lexicon Prime-Time digital delay lines. The unit on the left is set to 14 ms delay, and the one on the right at 26 ms delay. Both units are set to sweeping with a sine wave at a low depth and rate. Each delay has a very slight "pitch bend" controlled by the VCO (sine wave) inside the prime-time. This is what gives Metheny his patented "chorused" sound. Each of these signals is then sent into a Yamaha amp and power amp coming out of two speakers on the stage."
I can include some other comment about it, which say that another signal (central) is sent with the raw signal from the guitar with a long and light delay of 380-400 ms.
- Does somebody know how to configure PSPS 84 to get a sound like described above ???
- Do I use the correct plugin????
HELP, is there some stereo delay master????

Pat seems to use a set of modulated delays. Normally when the delay time gets modulated, you no longer call it simply a "delay" anymore, but its called "chorus" or "flanger".
Sorry, dunno weather the PSPS84 is capable of this, but Kjaerhus' "Golden Modulator" plugin is the first one I would try this recipe with. A pair that is... one for left and another for the right channel.

Now I've studied the picture of the PSP84. It can modulate the delay time also, so in theory it should be up for the task. Start with a preset named "chorus" or alike and then set the delay time between 13 and 26 ms. Your "boxed sound" indicates to me you have it on a slapback delay setting without LFO modulation.
