Please Note:

When you buy a license, it will license the product but does not remove the blanking.

In my usual update procedure, a link to download the non-demo, non-blanked version will be mailed automatically (i.e. without my intervention) within 48 hours after purchase.

Not ideal, I know. But it is automatic and relatively secure from my perspective.

Having said that, if you can't wait the 48 hours then just drop me an email, and if I am available/awake, I will mail the link by return of mail.

as for the pan, a real luxury could be a multichannel option/version.

Shouldn't be a problem for me to add pan controls for each voice. I'll probably include it in a near future update.

I have been working on the midi control and auto pitch detection for the last few months (as well as a few other plugs). The midi control was tricky, but I am happy enough with it to make this release.

The auto pitch detection (not included in this release) is working about 80% but not as robust as I would like. I just had a better idea, but it will take some time to code, integrate and test. If/when I am happy that it is good enough, I'll certainly include it in an update (Note: if I make it too good, the price of Choir Boy may increase).

I also plan to take a look at formant correction (since I now have an idea what to do). I hope it won't take too much additional CPU, but to do it well is not trivial. Again, if it comes out good, I'll add it to an update.

Note: You can use Choir Boy in many creative ways without formant correction.

I think this comes from: When you hear these, you shout 'Oh Boy'. :D :D

I'm sure as hell going to get this one too. Elevayta rules! I'm a big fan! :hail: I'm convinced it's going to be with Choir Boy as with Paul's previous Boys: First version works and sounds great. Still it gets updated regularly and with every update - it gets even better! That's value for money! (Or should that be value for no money!?)

Keep it up man!

So, does this mean that there´s no respect to formants in the way this plugin works? That must sound strange, on vocals especially...

At the moment...no. Choir Boy isn't primarily for vocals. It provides a flexible means to pitch shift any material, in stereo, under control, with a high quality.

To do formant correction well is not trivial - especially in stereo (imagine two different voices on each channel). If what I can realize in formant correction compromises the overall quality of Choir Boy as it is now, then I will not include it (same goes for the pitch detection).

Needless to say, I will work on it continually until I get something I like.

Having said that, you can achieve pretty realistic multi-voice vocal effects with Choir Boy as it is now.
