Timewarp2600 demo doesnt work in 6.8, dont know why.
Try pluggo or absynth 3 demo.
Insert the RTAS instrument on a aux/audio track and make a midi track with the output assigned to the instrument.

Hi All,
I have tried TimewARP 2600 under M-Powered, and I have noticed some strange behavior as well. We plan to work out the rough edges, and get a new version up as soon as we can that addresses these issues. Right now, however, we am also working on geting the AU version out.

FWIW, it seems to work on my obscure Delta TDIF card. I didn't put it through its paces, but I imported and recorded audio and played it back.
BTW, I don't know if its mentioned earlier in this thread but the demo installs "PACE System Files" and doesn't give you a chance to stop it (i.e., its going through installation of pro tools and says installing pace but there is no way to stop the install at that point - or at least I didn't see it). I just did a clean install and am not happy to have any semblence of PACE on my system.
I am Sonar 4 user and this is my first time using Pro Tools (tried PT Free years ago but could never get it to work). It didn't impress me to make me want to dive into it more.
Best,
urock

okay you win. but if it sucked so bad then why would it be one of the hottest selling music products to this day?sirocco wrote:
it's cute and sucks, what else is new?
cause it's portable and affordable.
i believe dj krush has one on stage with him. that's a guy who really wouldnt use a product just to promote it.

I went to M-Audio's website last week to check for driver updates for my Delta 410 when I discovered this news which got me excited, that is, until I noticed that my Delta 410 was not supported. Boo hoo.ahja wrote:Works with Delta 44/66, too... if anyone is wondering. 'Could probably sell my LE system now.
Having a Pro Tools M-Powered setup would be great because you can bring up your project in any other Pro Tools system. And using ReWire with Pro Tools would certainly open up a lot of possibilities for me. And yes, I've heard about some people's troubles getting ReWire to work properly with Pro tools. Anybody care to comment on that?
After reading ahja's post, I now have some hope about my Delta 410 working with this version of PT and I've decided to download the demo.
So I have a question: Which drivers will I need from Digidesign? Or am I still out of luck on this one?
Does anyone else know anything about whether or not the older Delta cards will work or if they'll be supported in the future? I'm not opposed to getting a new soundcard considering what's now available with M-Powered Pro Tools.

Looks like they pulled the demo. I got the drivers went back for the demo file and the page has nothing on it. Maybe its just my machine.[ Lex ] wrote:down the driver needed (PCi or firewire) and the demo at:2legged wrote:Which drivers will I need from Digidesign? Or am I still out of luck on this one?

They did,and they posted the reason why. Due to high demand for the Pro Tools M-Powered demo download, we are adding additional server capacity to our website. We expect to post the Pro Tools M-Powered demo again in a few days. Thank you for your patience.christianmusicmaker wrote:Looks like they pulled the demo.
