Does anyone have a good balloon pop or paper bag pop? The louder the better and preferably wav. I did a quick google search which resulted in nothing that was free. Thanks.

Funny that you say that because I have a 4 year old and this is the only time in a very long time that there have been no balloons in the house. I've searched everywhere in the house for one. The reason why I ask is because I'm doing a project for my friend and he wanted one to end his song and he wants to finish it tomorrow.

Whether or not it was made by someone sneaking up behind you.Warmonger wrote:What separates a good ballon pop from a bad one?
elhefe, do you want a loud, sharp "bang!" or a bubble-like "pwoit?" (Your post suggests the bang.) Do you have any soft synths handy? Might not be too hard to make a patch for a synthesized pop.

Here's a balloon pop recorded in an anechoic chamber--

This has always been one of my favorite balloon pop performances. (Maybe not perfectly in tune, but played with both spirit and sensitivity.)

The lyrics to the song go "I rock the mic like Axl Rose or Iggy ......." and right there needs to be a loud "bang" type of pop. Any free softsynth preset come to mind? The U of Iowa one is satisfactory but I want something that really grabs the listener.Meffy wrote:Whether or not it was made by someone sneaking up behind you.Warmonger wrote:What separates a good ballon pop from a bad one?
