What I meant was, all stores are offering normal Philharmonik for $100.00 LESS than MSRP. Will they be offering $100.00 less than MSRP for the crossgrade? Because otherwise the cross-grade is only an advantage of $50.00 or so - I'm not so sure that's even worth it, since you'll be able to find stores offering it for less than that on froogle shortly after releaseSquids wrote:Yes, it is. But, the crossgrade for ST2 owners is $349. and not $100. I don't know where you got THAT from. As it is the crossgrade is an incredible deal at $349. and it isn't going to be offered forever either. It's at least there for the launch and some stores will be taking pre-orders soon!Rellik wrote:It's on the site posted at the beginning of the thread.(an indication that we're getting close!!!!)
The over 1,000 sounds is refering to parent, child and combi presets. The final count we won't know until we're done. The list on line is just a partial list. There's even more than that. But, to have something to digest for now... Some of the specific names may change in the end as well.
And if the cross-grade offer is going to be around for a very short time anyway, I don't see why alot of people will be rushing to get in on the deal rather than waiting and spending much less at their own pace. I'm sure there will be people who can't wait
Anyway, boring price issues aside, I've been listening to the demo over and over, and it still sounds better than any orchestral library I've ever heard - and looks easier to use. Thanks for the info on the presets - that's what I expected
