Well that was fun reading! Anyway, going back to the original post:

Quote: "In the end i reached the conclusion that the only thing that would do, was a MAC and Logic 7, but then i realised that most of my lovely plugs do not exist on MAC . Taking the sculptor metaphor I have to choose to compromise between my chisel and my Materials."

If buying a Mac is actually an option, why don't you do that and have all the lovely PC plugs controlled via midi...or would you have to do away with the PC for cost/space reasons?

?'m probably doing that eventually, or just produce on Mac , since i mainly use logic's built in or cross platform plugs, and mix on PC to keep all my Voxengo, Kjaerhus plugs, plus Samplitude is wicked :). What would be great is if apple made it possible to use PC as nodes for plugins . That will of course happen when hell and it's master (Jobs) freeze to -276 o C for reasons i am bored to enlist here .

I may purchase an apple at some point. But I think I'll wait until tiger comes out--and I hear they may revamp their powermac line up this summer.

Any one want to buy a slightly used Notron?
