Wonder why it didn't show up last night when I searched for it...hmm.

Anyway, it is showing 14 hours left for the listing, so anyone looking to jump on doesn't have long left...

Oh well - got it anyway - 129 is still a cool price considering how much it will be when V2 is out.

Anyone else want one there are some left at http://www.nusystems.co.uk/buy.asp?prod ... _Project_5

I posted this in a different P5 topic, but...
I bought my Project5 v1.5 recently at www.academicsuperstore.com for $129 USD with free post. You have to be a student to take advantage of this deal unfortunately, but if you are academically involved I'd hop on this one right away!

That form is no good for UK purchasers...we have to use the form that Edirol provide...

the link to it is hidden about, oooh, 1 page down on their site? ;)

one thing I don't understand is the bit about '£12 handling charge'. OK, I'm not a complete cheapskate and and kind of understand the need for having one, but how does that work? We apply for the upgrade, send our forms, wait a few weeks for them to say we can have it, send a cheque for the £12 and then 4 months down the line get the upgrade? :?:

Post

Anybody else annoyed by the fact that Edirol have not announced what the upgrade price will be and that there does not appear to be a way to pre-order.

European customers are always treated second best by cakewalk - things were much better when etcetera.co.uk were the official distributor.

HI

Compared with other companies upgrade prices - I am thinking of the 3 recent Native up-dates I purchased (Absynth3, Battery2 & Kontakt2) each costing £100 (thats £300) or the upgrade to SXV3 ect - the £12 did sound a bit cheeky to me as a handling charge but who would complain if the update from V1 - V2 was a £100?

So its not that bad.

Flipper.

Well I sent a cheque with the form. It didn't state what you are supposed to do, so I figured that if I sent the payment with the form, then I would hopefully get the upgrade quicker :)

Wish it was an online form - I don't have a printer so it means taking it into work.
