electro, integer multiplies conversion (2x, 3x, 4x, etc) are just performed more efficiently - you may check this out in r8brain PRO. Other than this speed difference there are no quality differences present in r8brain PRO when converting to and from various samplerates.

electro, integer multiplies should be also more precise in 'interpolated' resamplers (like the free r8brain version) because with such multiplies resampler uses precalculated coefficients without interpolation necessary. Non-integer multiplies often require interpolation between coefficient arrays - that may introduce various artifacts.
