I know my copyrighted music is protected in the US but how do I protect it on an int'l level? If my tracks get stolen in Europe I know the US courts have no jurisdiction.

AFAIK copyright is an international valid law. Only the law enforcements are different from country to country. Of course somebody in the EU could be accused of having stolen something copyright-protected from someone living in the US.

Here’s a rundown of the US international copyright relations:

www.copyright.gov/circs/circ38a.html

It’s a list of what copyright agreements these countries have signed. Whether they live up to their commitments or not is of course another matter.

Looks like you’ll have zero protection in Afghanistan, Ethiopia and Iran. :hihi:

In Europe, if you're a member of one of the associations which looks after the interests of songwriters/musicians, you will get cover and reciprocal collection of revenue from ANY country in the world.

In Ireland, this is IMRO (Irish Music Rights Organisation) - In the UK, it is the PRS (Performing Rights Society) etc etc etc

Join *something*, man. They will then advise you and support you.
