i have a bunch of mp3's with different sound(equalize)settings (one has more bass in it then the other, who may have more highend)...now i wanna convert them all to the same sound like taking an mp3 who sounds the best...i know Steinbergs Freefilter does the job but i only works for one mp3 at the time (? i guess so), so very timeconsuming,...if someone knows how to do this or know a software that can do the job, glad to hear about it

This process is commonly called mastering and usually a complex task (if you want any quality).

There are an entire brunch of tools for doing that. But the first thing is probably to decode the mp3s, which lost already alot of quality due the encoding.

Timeconsuming is it never the less.

Process them all through a multiband compressor. That's what radio stations do to make a diverse mix of CD's all sound about the same.

Peak Limiting can be handy for such a task. Yohng's Free W1 plugin is quite capable.

batch process in the audio editor of your choice.
will take some time though.

Peak limiting is of no use in compensating for too much or too little bass or treble. A multiband compressor splits your signal into X number of bands, and compresses each band individually. They are designed to mash all your music into the same consistency. Radio stations use them for obvious reasons.
