Qw, music from twelve weeks in quarantine is now streaming on spotify and bandcamp. This is a collaboration with the the smallest of worlds VR art project, that documents our living spaces in times of isolation. You can join their project here.

Filterscape is excellent and highly recommend it. It uses almost no CPU which is simply amazing. It's got a filter module, 6band EQ and a VA synth.

Go check it out at http://www.filterscape.com

What was the problem with the CPU? It takes less than 3% on my system.

I second that - and it has full automation capability in some hosts like Tracktion.

It's free, it looks like cheese, and it sounds great - why not use it?

You say that, but has anyone even tried it outside of Basement Arts? Looks cool, but we'll have to wait and see if it's the best.

If you're looking for just simple filters, check out the KarmaFX filter or the Galleoneer MK1. Both very useful for filtering. Neither comes with built-in modulation though, but you can always automate or use MIDI CCs.

HI

I think ZapFilter is quite nice if a little raw but for $10 or whatever it has a nice gui, plenty of pre-sets and lots of editing/control.

Porpoise.

Err, PSP make Nitro.. Ohm Force make Frohmage and Quad Frohmage (which I prefer as a filter, although Nitro does all sorts of other cool effects which maybe QF couldn't do so well). Filterscape is another good one with a different sound.. They all have their strengths.

:o my bad!

thanks for correcting me.

Ohmforce and PSP are 2 great companies.

Awesome program. Incredible presets. I checked out the OhmForce. Not as smoothe. Presets not as interesting. Interface not as tweakable.

I'd go with Nitro.
