Wahoo!! :D Been silent for a few days....cuz my EG
arrived on Wed!! Been playing the heck out of it and writing presets for live performance in Chainer.

Built up a P4 machine just for stage use....will
get to try out the new rig this Wed. I'm playing
two shows at the University to groups of about
100 kids age 6-11.....should be a blast!! I'm
already very happy with the EG and I have'nt even
begun to dig into the scripts and Bidule's routing
possibilities.....can't wait!! 8)

OK so far I was "playing" with this toy but never used it any "serious work" .... until now.
This piece was written and played on the EZ-AG including the bass, Electric Piano and even some drum parts.

Jazz-Funk built on blues elements

Hey Great Track.
Cool you used the EZ in it!

As some of you may know ...I am the maker of ManyStation Sampler ....
I have been playing my new EZ-AG hooked up to ManyStation and just loving it.

I Have an offer here for a few of you guys if you might be interested.
We are currently working on a new project here and what i need is some Midi files of chords and Strum patterns etc etc. I Have found that the EZ-AG is Very decent for creating these midi files.
Due to my time currently being devoted to the Sounds and Sample work for ManyStation i need some help on these Midi Files.

Seeing as People who play guitar and own a midi Guitar are perfect for this , I am asking here.

I will Give a full copy of ManyStation to a few of you who could provide some Midi Guitar Files. We are looking for Chord and Strum Construction Kit type stuff. Easy to make really using the EZ guitars.

Please PM or email me for more info if Interested.
You need to be a bit of a Guitar player to Qualify
Info on ManyStation is at our website (Link in In my sig) and in our Forum here at KvR.

You guys would Love Playing ManyStation with the EZ Guitars!

Cheers

Cool.....nice chord voicings! I played a bit of

it feels as a percussion controller.

Thanks ...I had seen that.... it is kind of cool and a great price but i still hear some Not proper sounds... like they were generated not really played?

I was thinking that it can be done a bit better sounding with the ez guitars and a good player.
I guess i will have to see what folks can come up with.
Really i just want to be able to offer our users a few cool midi guitar patterns to load up with ManyStation.

Cheers

In case anyone in the San Francisco area is interested, I'm thinking of parting of my EZ-AG. I'm just way too raw of a guitarist to make it work for me :( I basically suck and am admitting defeat. I'd like to trade it for a decent midi keyboard controller.

*edit* I happily traded it for a Yamaha CS1x. I wish my playing was cleaner or I would have kept the EZ-AG. Maybe one day when I have more time to concentrate on it, I'll get another. I wish Yamaha would come out with a EZ midi sax though. I could cart something like that with me to work.

fretboard....cant seem to get midi out of it

You have to make sure that the matched pair of MIDI Yoke in and out ports are set correctly.

So if you set "MIDI Yoke NT: 1" as your output port in the EZ app, you need to set "MIDI Yoke NT: 1" as your input port in the host (both as an enabled port and the active input port for a given MIDI track).

Update - this has been sold !

Its a great device, but I've decided the EZ-EG isnt quite what I need from a midi controller (I need the guitar sound as well), so sadly its got to go. Complete with all accessories and boxed as new.

I'm located in Scotland and will either accept reasonable offers or swap for something interesting (samplers, modules, guitar synths, etc). Will post to UK or Europe, contact davenow@hotmail.com (mailto:davenow@hotmail.com) for more info.

Cheers

Eeep! Do you have any hardware to plug it straight into to test that it's not the Midix setup? Do even the built-in guitar sounds coming from the speaker play wrong? First time I've heard of such problems!

Bummer! Hope you get it worked out.

Yeah, I tested it directly into a Roland D-110
and a Yamaha FB-01.......same problem. It does'nt
seem to be occurring with the built in sounds
tho.....but I have'nt used those much.
