in the param part of the inspector, at the left of the tracks i should have all the available param of a vst. but i only have pitch bend and modulation. i want to automate the adsr knobs for instance, or the filter cutoff & reso, or whatever... what am i doing wrong?
is it cuz at first, when i create the project i choose not to use any midi inputs/outputs? (i don't have a midi controller)

if your track with vst is selected, they should show up in the inspector
if not, your plugin definition might be dodgy
try deleting the plug from your devices and then import it again.. see if you can see the vst patrams then

tried it. didn't work. seems not to work with any vst's. i tried battery 2, the kjaerhus classic series, rgc:audio square 1 and none of them have any available params besides pitch bend and modulation.
(btw, wtf is happening with the podium forum? it's been offline for days now)

How are you importing the plugins? If you use the wizard (ctrl + W) 'import plugin', it should automatically create a definition from the VST containing all the VST parameters. You can check this in the project browser, inside the devices folder should be a device definition for the particular VST you imported which will list all the VST parameters.
As for the Podium forum, the Zynewave frontpage claims that their hosting server farked up and that the community areas will be restored as soon as possible.

What version of Podium are you running? If you're using the 1.29 demo, there should be two folders in the Param panel: 'VST Parameters' and 'MIDI Parameters'. The MIDI parameters should actually show 'Channel Pressure' in addition to the two you mentioned.
The zynewave.com forum is back online again. My host provider had a server hardware failure, and had problems with their tape backup system.
