Strat style, yes - but definitely not Strat. Sounds like this . Tune is called "Sixty Two", for obvious reasons

. BTW, the clean lead guitar in "Stay Tuned" on that page is the Artcore.

Yes, tremolo is one way.

about the colour:

It's always the same with the guy who sold it to me -
I went to him and said - 'I am interested in a certain Ibanez semi-ressonance guitar - can't remember the exact name right now but it has got a tremolo - your homepage says you've got it here but I can't see it...'
He looked it up in their catalogue and then checked it on the computer - 'red?' he asked - 'actually I'd rather have it torquiose' I replied - 'nope, sorry - I only got it in red!' - 'then red!' - then he asked me to follow him and went into a room with lots of glas so I could look inside - dunno what he did there exactly but it seems he looked for my Artcore... he grabbed an expensive Strat someone had tried and hung it back to the wall where it belonged. After that he went to a stack of paper-boxes looked at it and said 'down there I've got one packed and ready to go'...'uhm...', I replied - 'I dunno where the unpacked ones are...', he then said - 'weren't they in the room you've just been?' 'nope - they're all Gibsons!' - I went over to the room again and looked inside... 'those on the wall, those aren't Gibsons I bet, as they've got 'Ibanez' written on them!'

'Ah, yes - there they are! I meant on the ground they're all Gibsons...' - 'well, and there's a torquiose one as well - gimme that one!'

I have to add that he's a very friendly guy though...

I have lived with my Jstation for a few months now, and I am pleased with 90% of the sounds I can get out of it. In particular the vox-y type sounds. I can get good distortion out of it, but it takes some time to tweak to be just right...

I dig it- its very rock-a-billy. As I stated before teh 335- style is prettier IMO. Do you not like the archtop look rob?

no problem - it's just a matter of taste - I like guitars having bonbon-colours and looking like fun rather than looking like they want to say:
'I am here to being made serious music with'

I can't stand them looking to serious...
